The third day of the torch relay began from Preveza and continued to Igoumenitsa, where the cauldron was lit by the Olympic champion in rowing in the London Olympics Alexandra Tsiavou, who run under an arch made of puddles held by young rowers. The cauldron was set up at the White Tower after the torch relay in Thessaloniki, where thousands of people rushed to see the Olympic symbol.
